John Hendry

John Hendry has spent a lifetime working in education – primarily at Geelong Grammar School where he has made a significant and last impact on the culture of the school and has led the development to the schools’ relationship management model.

John contends that institutional culture determines well-being and the capacity of each student and teacher to thrive. Wellbeing is fundamentally determined by the capacity to forgive. The focus on kindness and forgiveness provides the way to manage mistakes, resolve conflicts and repair relationships, thereby enhancing wellbeing.

John Hendry will be discussing how schools can create and promote exceptional performance through creating a resilient culture Helping schools create greater team focus and move all from a #MeFirst culture to a #WeFirst culture. This means thriving, being our best, and leading change confidently with ethical purpose through inclusive and collaborative behaviour.
